HIBERNATION PROBLEM (WINDOWS XP)
I updated all the Windows updates and drivers and had this problem of not being able to go into standby mode. Melde dich an, um unangemessene Inhalte zu melden. They need to cooperate in the whole game of turning off when told to. It's set to S3, and has had that setting since dirt. . . Please try again now or at a later time. Because it is on the disk, the computer can turn off completely, and use no power at all. Doesn't do anything. ???

Updating services for Flash Player, Java, and Google Toolbar have been removed from the Startup files. It drives me nuts, because my system fails to hibernate after I've already initiated the hibernation process and walked away from it. I wish I did, since I am not exactly sure which of the things I did that actually resolved the problem.Tip #3: Work on not starting programs automatically first. Then it stopped. Not sure what did it, but if I had to guess, it was unchecking "Enable hibernation", which deletes the hiberfil.sys file, then went back and rechecked it.
