Use it, see ads. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. The selected area was scanned. If you do it'll detect almost anything dodgey..
Did you by chance try uninstalling it via the Programs And Features applet in the Control Panel? I have it in Quaratine now, I just want to make sure there is nothin else left. Searching for it turns up nothing. It did not detect any problems.
